Frugal Finishing

This weekend we decorated my music room (among the many other things we did!). It was pretty thrifty and I'm pleased with the outcome.

I got some old sheet music free. I tacked up each page on my "piano" wall in my studio. After I was done papering the wall we hung 3 black floating shelves from Target - the cheapest ones they had (I'm sure I could have gotten a better deal somewhere else, but I was in a hurry and the paper was free!) and then I put my collections on these shelves - pianos, frogs, and Japanese china. :)

I also got a musical border from a student and started putting parts of it up on the sliding closet doors!

Now we have a fun looking, just about finished room! On to the basement... unfortunately that won't be so easy or cheap... I love owning our own home (seriously and sarcastically there...)
