It's been a while. I guess I've been busy?! We've been trying to get things in order before baby (finances aren't pretty... we got the car seat... our crib was recalled... the IKEA crib we wanted originally is finally in stock in MN...).
I didn't feel the best Thurs/Fri - not sure what that was. Oh well. Saturday was a beautiful fall day - we went to the orchard and got tons of tasty apples and came home and made about 40 cups of applesauce and tons of PB cookies :) Our freezer is started to get full! It was the best "date" we've had in quite a while!
Today we got the sad news that a good friend of mine from growing up years was killed in a car accident. He would have turned 28 next week. Nathan was a very talented baker - any weddings at home showed off his amazing work. What a very sad and tragic loss.
I had an OB appointment this morning and at 34 weeks 1 day I've got a baby that's fully dropped and I'm 70% effaced and dilated to 2. They're not worried about stopping anything as the baby is big and looked great on the last ultrasound. How exciting - and scary! But, because of this news, I don't think I'll be able to head to MN for Nathan's service.
What a day.

What orchard did you two go to? Sounds like fun!
Wow! I was 4cm and 90% at 38 weeks... not sure where I was before that. But that's quite a bit of progress already! Maybe we'll see the little Lanser when we see you in a few weeks?!?!?
