Well, for quite a while Bekah hasn't been a big naptime sleeper.
NO we're NOT giving up naptime - even if she doesn't sleep we all need a little quiet time...
Yesterday she fell asleep right away - it was 2pm (an hour later than normal)
and she
S L E P T
for over two beautifully quiet hours (Sofie was sleeping too! SUCCESS!!! I got 18 things listed on eBay during that time! Hurray!!!)
But...
Perhaps that nap was a bit too much for my big three year old (going on thirteen)
Since it took her from 8pm-9:45pm to fall asleep for bedtime (when it usually takes less than a half hour...)
Oy.
So, if she does fall asleep at naptime, she probably is tired and needs a nap, right? Do I just need to wake her after, say, an hour to help bedtime go better?!? Anyone... Advice is welcome!!!
1 Notes from Others:
And this is the exact reason Olivia hasn't taken a nap since she turned 1. I didn't want to fight the evening battle. Anyway, Olivia has a quiet time that lasts approx. 1 hour, sometimes longer, where she is supposed to stay in her room and do quiet things, like read. When her nightlight turns off (it's on a timer) she is allowed out of her room.
